25th Edition of Food & Hotel Thailand Celebrates 18% Growth in 2017

The 25th and largest to date edition of Food & Hotel Thailand 2017 took place 6 to 9 September 2017 in Bangkok closed on an overwhelmingly positive note and setting new records.

Food & Hotel Thailand (FHT) 2017 is Thailand and the region’s leading premier international food & hospitality trade event which has consistently brought the ASEAN food & hospitality industry towards greater professionalism and globalism by joining-up new business opportunities and services. Celebrating 25 glorious years of serving our industry and delivering the best standards, FHT2017 featured 393 participants from 30countries, which represents an 18% increase in exhibiting companies from last year. As well, seven international pavilions participated in this edition including Belgium, China, Germany, Japan, South Africa, Taiwan and the USA. FHT2017 also played host to a number of events and seminars including Thailand’s 19th Hospitality Industry Congress, Thai Wine Master Class, Thai Spa Operators Association Seminar, and Thailand’s International Culinary Cup (TICC)’s 23rd edition with a record breaking 600 chefs in participation.

FHT once again delivered high quality and high quantity trade visitors from Thailand and across Asia with a total of 28,841 professionals from 69 countries with top 12 countries including Malaysia, China, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, India, Philippines, Vietnam and Hong Kong. Visitors from Food & Hotel Thailand 2017 was largely represented from industries such as hotels, restaurants, resorts, foodservices, cafés, coffee shops, importer and distributor industry players including; Accor, Air Asia, All Season, Airport of Thailand, Ambassador Bangkok, Amari Atrium, Anatara Group, Bangkok Air Catering, Bangkok Airways, Bangkok Marriott, Banyan Tree, Cathay Pacific, Centara, Central Food Retail, Central Group, Conrad, Dusit Thani, Four Seasons, Hilton, JW Marriott, Le Condon Bleu, Le Meridien, LSG Sky Chefs, Mandarin Oriental, Nok Air, Novotel, Royal Orchid Sheraton, Shangri-La, Sheraton, Siam Kempinski, Siam Paragon, Sofitel, Starbucks, Tesco Lotus, Thai Airways, The Mall Group, and many many more.
