Since incorporation in 1989, BES rapidly became one of the leading trade exhibition and conference organisers in Thailand. With a portfolio of more than 20 events, BES has extensive experience of organising both national and regional exhibitions in Bangkok. This includes the organisation of the first exhibition in Thailand to be endorsed by the worldwide exhibition standards organisation based in Paris, the Union des Foires Internationales.
BES is a member of the Allworld Exhibition Alliance of international trade show organisers, managers and consultants, with a history dating back over 100 years to London in 1895. The Allworld Alliance is the largest private network of exhibition organisers in Asia and launched its first event in the region in 1968, its calendar in Asia now features a continuous programme of over 200 regular exhibitions in 17 countries serving virtually all major industries and technologies.
Allworld Exhibitions member company, Overseas Exhibition Services Ltd (OES), is based in London and contains a high quality experienced sales and marketing operation whose function is to promote Allworld Exhibition’s portfolio on a worldwide scale. This includes direct contact with key clients throughout Europe, the Americas, Africa and the Middle East working in tandem with a network of local offices whose role it is to promote the shows in their respective country or region. BES’s Allworld Exhibitions partner in Singapore is International Expo Management (IEM) who co-ordinates the group’s offices and agency networks in Asia.
The programme of events organised by BES covers many specialised industry groups including: processing and packaging, electrical engineering and industrial Automation, lighting and building technologies, security and fire safety, oil and gas, automotive, manufacturing, power generation, energy management and conservation, plant maintenance and utility management, food and hospitality, retail, travel catering, hotel management, communication, IT solutions, and more recently plastics with the launch of Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2007 in Ho Chin Minh City. BES is also engaged in a continuous programme of research in order to develop existing events and introduce new sectors. BES is also a professional exhibition management company in Thailand with extensive international experience of managing events through the Allworld Exhibitions Alliance. Managed events in Thailand include the ASCOPE International Oil & Gas conference, the FIFSTA ASEAN Food Conference, the Asia Pacific In-Flight convention, the British Chamber of Commerce Thai-UK 2006 showcase, Asia Pacific Travel Catering conference and exhibition, HOSTEC Asia 2007 and the Asian natural gas vehicle event, ANGVA 2007.
