MYANMAR’S 4-IN-1 INDUSTRY EVENT PREPARES LOCAL INDUSTRIES FOR GLOBAL STAGE
Yangon — Held from 9-11 October 2019, Myanmar’s largest 4-in-1 industry event once again succeeded in providing a platform for local industries to grow their professional networks and discover the latest solutions to meet the demands of the country’s growing economy. Visitors had access to the following four events: Construction, Power & Mining Myanmar (CPMM) 2019; Renewable Energy Myanmar 2019; MTA Myanmar 2019; and Subcon Myanmar 2019.
This year’s event was held across 4,000 Sq m at the Myanmar Expo (ME). Its new venue in Yangon hosted more than 100 exhibitors from 7 countries including China, Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand. Additionally, 6 international pavilions from China, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand showcased even more of the latest technologies and solutions. These industry leaders drew 2,411 trade visitors from 24 countries who were looking to enhance their competitive edge.
Construction, Power & Mining Myanmar (CPMM) 2019dedicated itself to three industries: building & construction, electric power & renewable energy, and mining & minerals recovery. Visitors discovered advanced tools and quality machinery for improving their performance as they ride the wave of construction industry growth.
Renewable Energy Myanmar 2019was co-located with CPMM and offered sustainable solutions address climate change concerns. It also served as a platform for the energy industry to discuss ways to overcome challenges in supplying sufficient energy to meet growing demands in the near future.
MTA Myanmar 2019 provided a key business platform for the precision engineering, machine tools and metalworking industries in which precision and efficiency are significant factors for driving business. Visitors had access to advanced machinery and a network of leading industry professionals.
Subcon Myanmar 2019was co-located with MTA Myanmar 2019 and connected professional partners and trade visitors from the manufacturing and construction industries. Subcon also showcased the latest technologies and innovations for improving production through precision, speed and cost savings.
In addition to discovering new trends and advanced technologies, visitors had the opportunity to increase their knowledge and share experiences with other professionals through several conferences and seminars, including the Roles of Power, Mining & Construction Sectors in the Development of Myanmar, organized by the Federation of Myanmar Engineering Societies. It covered essential aspects for the industry, such as electrical safety, renewable energy, the mining industry and construction and received positive feedback from participants. New products were also presented at a variety of seminars and included ideas such as intelligent parking solutions and lubricants with cost-saving advantages.
